7.0 inch bar lcd introduction:
TFT
LCD display 7.0 inch is a color Bar tft lcd display
panel which is made with 280RGBx1424 resolution. Each pixel is divided into Red,
Green and Blue sub-pixels and dots, which are arranged in vertical stripes.
This small tft display is only 7.0" in diagonal, packed with RGB pixels,
for making very small high-density displays.
The 7’’ bar lcd display MLT070W30-S1
is often used for server system, audio system and advertising display or equipment
which requires bar type display in high quality.

What is bar lcd?
Bar lcd means the wide lcd, it is longer in horizontal direction, and shorter in vertical direction, its aspect ratio is in 16:5 or 16:7, that is wider than our regular 16:9 or 16:10 lcd display. bar display is widely in white goods display, industrial devies, automotive audio, POS system, advertising display etc. the previous bar lcd display is monochrome lcd in custom sizes, because custom lcd is easily to make wide lcd sizes, while the tft lcd is common sizes such as 2.4", 3.5", 4.3", 5" standard sizes that in 4:3 or 16:9, 16:10 aspect ratio. now the color bar tft lcd is coming, such as 2.9" color bar tft lcd with 16:7 and 3.9" bar tft lcd with 16:5 aspect ratio.
Some of bar tft lcd were cut from the standard size of 3.5" or 5" tft lcd, it is the economy way to save the expensive tooling fee for tft lcd panel. because a custom new tft lcd panel tooling fee would be around 150k USD. the shortage of lcd bar display in tft, its reliability would not as good as the common standard sizes of 3.5" and 5" tft lcd, because the cutting bar tft lcd, it is the second re-sealing on the cutting edge, it have some risk in high temperature and low temperature in long term working. so to choose a reliability bar lcd supplier would be very important.
As color bar lcd display, there are some dimensions that are the tooling make bar lcd, such as 3.9” tooling bar lcd, 7.8” 8.8” and 12.3” color bar lcd display, the tooling tft bar lcd display, it would have the same reliability as the common sizes.
